Meet Pastor David & Emily Cook
Worship Pastor & Young Adults Pastor
Pastor David Cook serves as the Worship Pastor and Young Adults Pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church (TFC), having joined the team in April of 2023. With a deep passion for worship and a heart for guiding young adults in their faith, David is dedicated to helping individuals discover their God-given gifts and understand their purpose in Christ. His love for leading others in worship is evident as he helps them experience the fullness of God’s presence through song, prayer, and prophetic declarations. David’s greatest joy is witnessing God exalted and His people set free in worship.
David married his high school sweetheart, Emily, in 1997, shortly after graduating from college. Together, they relocated to Tyler, feeling a strong call to East Texas. They are the proud parents of three college-aged children—Macie, Caleb, and Luke—who are all devoted to the Lord and serve alongside their parents in ministry.
David enjoys exercising, spending quality time with friends over a cup of coffee, and writing music. He is also a long-suffering Dallas Cowboys fan, and an impressive dancer—especially when it comes to 90’s hip-hop! If you ever catch him on the dance floor at a wedding, you’re in for a treat—Emily can certainly vouch for that!
David is incredibly blessed to serve at TFC and is deeply moved by the passionate worship that fills the church every Sunday. He is in awe of the humility, dedication, and excellence of the TFC ministry team and is grateful for the strong sense of community shared by the church body.
Emily
Emily, David’s wife of over 25 years, is his steadfast partner in ministry. In addition to supporting David in their church roles, Emily works for a book-publishing company, where she channels her love for literature into promoting books and helping others discover great reads. Together, they have dedicated their lives to serving the Lord, leading with humility, joy, and purpose. Emily’s commitment to her faith, her family, and her work is an inspiration to all who know her.
